The firm is dedicated to the statewide representation of persons injured in motor vehicle and workplace accidents. The majority of those cases have involved individuals who sustained permanent and lasting injuries Founder, Attorney Gabriel Fernando Jiménez, is the son of Cuban refugees & born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up in Miami, Florida, where he attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, a high school run by Jesuits originally from Cuba. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration at Florida International University in 1994 and then went on to graduate from The Florida State University College of Law in 1997. Jiménez began his legal career in Miami, Florida as an insurance defense attorney. His primary focus was litigating Workers' Compensation and Construction cases. Upon arriving in North Carolina in 1999, he became associated with one of the largest plaintiff's firms in the state. Being of Cuban descent Jiménez is fluent in Spanish, thus he began representing numerous Spanish-speaking individuals and their families. In 2002 Jiménez Law Offices, pllc was founded in Raleigh, north Carolina. The majority of our clients have sustained significant injuries as a result of serious accidents. Additionally, the firm makes every effort to help individuals with legal needs outside of our practice areas by giving them a brief orientation and referring them to an appropriate attorney. Our clients are almost exclusively native Spanish speakers. Outside of the office, Jiménez has always enjoyed participating in community service projects and volunteer organizations. He has served as a Board member for the North Carolina Bar Association. He also sits on the Hispanic Lawyers Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Hispanic/Latino Legal Issues Division of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, committees which he has Chaired in the past. Jiménez also serves as an adjunct professor at The University of North Carolina at Chapel HiLL School of Law. Whether acting as counselors, volunteers or mentors the firm takes pride in providing valuable services to individuals in need.
